Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
DAY 1 – Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) and transfer to Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), our driver will be waiting for you. He’ll drive you to your hotel in Arusha in about 1-1,5 hour. Once arrived, you can finally rest after your long flight and start taking it all in. If there’s enough time, you can spend some time in the center of Arusha, or simply relax at your hotel. If you arrive early, we can even arrange an activity for you during the day (to be booked in advance). We’re more than happy to help you with information about places to go, where to eat and other practical arrangements.
DAY 2 – Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your driver / guide will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha in the morning and drive to the entrance of Tarangire National Park, which takes about 2 hours. You’ll have lunch in the park and spend the rest of the day spotting elephants, giraffes, pelicans, zebras and lots of other animals. In the late afternoon you’ll drive to your accommodation for the night, where dinner will also be served.
DAY 3 – Ngorongoro crater – Arusha
The days starts early today, as we want you to see the sunrise. After breakfast you’ll head towards Ngorongoro crater for day 2 of your trip. You’ll enter the crater over the steep path that leads down. Get ready to take in the amount of different animals you’re about to see – only giraffes and a few other species are absent because of access to food and the crater itself. You’re basically guaranteed to see large numbers of gnus (wildebeest), zebras, buffaloes and gazelles and chances are you’ll be able to spot rhinos and leopards. So who knows, you might manage to tick off all the big 5 off your list in just 2 days! You’ll have lunch in the park and drive back to Arusha after that.
DAY 4 – Transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) and Departure
Our driver will pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to Kilimanjaro airport. We wish you a safe flight and hope you’ve had an unforgettable time!
